New Flagship Store Sealup Brera Opening Cocktail Party.
Milan, October 20th 2016
The Brera district can now boast a new destination for Made in Italy fashion: 20th October saw a grand cocktail party to celebrate the inauguration of Sealup’s first mono-brand store in the splendid setting of number 3, Via Brera.
The store’s location, in the historic and elegant street which links La Scala opera house and Brera Academy of Fine Arts in the heart of the city, is a fitting reflection of the spirit of the Milanese brand, a benchmark since 1935 in the production of “Luxury Rainwear and Outerwear”, and a living expression of 100% Made in Italy worldwide.
With four large windows, the new boutique is a bright, simple, modern space. Large arched windows overlook one of Milan's marvellous indoor courtyards.
The 300 square meters on two floors of a late nineteenth-century building are dedicated to the Sealup Men's and Women's outerwear collections. The retail space is also conceived as a versatile “destination store”, which aims to provide a unique shopping experience. A wide range of the celebrated waterproof outerwear, pea jackets, overcoats and down jackets will be accompanied by “Limited Edition Sealup Brera” items, bespoke and made-to-measure garments.
The store will also carry trousers, knitwear, shirts and Sealup accessories, still 100% Made in Italy, but other brands too, equally excellent and iconic, selected from around the world and offered exclusively in the Milan store. These include men’s and women’s knitwear from Inis Meáin in Ireland, Lawrence Covell belts from Colorado, leather items from German firm F. Hamman - established in1864 - and ties co-branded with Marinella.
