Scope and duration
Goods sold to consumers are covered by the statutory guarantee of conformity, separate from commercial warranties and change-of-mind withdrawal. The responsible seller is Sealup S.r.l. Liability covers lack of conformity present on delivery and becoming apparent within two years after delivery, without prejudice to additional applicable protections.
Remedies free of charge
Consumers may choose repair or replacement within statutory limits. A price reduction or termination is available where the conditions in the Italian Consumer Code are met. Remedies are free of charge, must be provided within a reasonable time and must not cause significant inconvenience.
Where repair is used to restore conformity, the liability period is extended once by twelve months under applicable law. Before a remedy is provided, consumers are informed of their choice between repair and replacement and any applicable statutory extension.
Requesting assistance
Email customerservice@sealup.net with the purchase references and a description of the issue. Consumers are not required to contact only the manufacturer or carrier. Statutory guarantee claims are not subject to the 14-day withdrawal deadline and do not involve return costs for the consumer.
