Terms of service

Version dated 31 October 2026.

1. Seller and scope

Products purchased from the Sealup online shop are sold by Sealup S.r.l., registered office: Via Ludovico il Moro 27, 20142 Milano (MI), Italy; VAT number 07840000157 (“Sealup” or the “Seller”). For purchase enquiries, assistance and complaints: customerservice@sealup.net, telephone +39 02 96779510.

These terms govern online purchases of clothing and accessories by consumers: individuals acting outside their trade, business, craft or profession. Professional or wholesale transactions require separate agreements. Purchasers must be adults or otherwise legally authorised.

The website terms of use, Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy published through Iubenda remain separate documents. Purchases are governed by these terms and mandatory consumer protection laws.

2. Products, availability and prices

Essential characteristics, sizes, colours and available material information are provided on product pages. Differences caused by screen settings do not limit the right to receive goods that conform to the description and contract.

Availability is checked during the purchase process. If an item becomes unavailable, Sealup promptly informs the customer and refunds the amounts due for goods it cannot supply and any other sums owed. Substitutes are not charged without the customer’s agreement.

Prices are expressed in euros. The summary before payment shows the total price, applicable VAT and any delivery or other charges. Later price changes do not affect contracts already concluded. Promotions are subject to the conditions and dates stated in the shop and the applicable rules on price reductions.

3. Orders and formation of the contract

The customer selects products, checks the basket, enters the requested details and chooses from the available delivery and payment options. Before submitting the order, the customer can check and correct the information and see the total amount due, then confirms using the action indicating an obligation to pay.

The contract is concluded when Sealup emails confirmation that it accepts the order to the address supplied by the customer. The confirmation includes purchase details and the applicable contractual information. Customers should retain the confirmation and a copy of the terms applicable when the order was placed.

Customers may contact Customer Service about mistakes or changes before dispatch. Statutory withdrawal and other legal rights remain available even where preparation of the order has already begun.

4. Payment

The payment methods actually available are displayed during checkout. The selected method’s conditions and any authentication checks are shown before completion. Refunds use the original means of payment unless expressly agreed otherwise without additional cost to the customer.

5. Shipping and delivery

Deliveries are handled through DHL to destinations enabled in the shop. The applicable shipping charge is displayed at checkout before the order is submitted. Discounts or free delivery apply only where expressly stated.

The indicative delivery time is 2–3 working days after dispatch. Information for the individual order takes the service and destination into account. Unless a different period has been agreed, delivery takes place without undue delay and within the statutory period.

Customers should contact Sealup about late or missing deliveries. Remedies under Article 61 of the Italian Consumer Code remain available, including termination and reimbursement where applicable. Risk of loss or damage passes when the consumer, or a designated third party other than the carrier, physically receives the goods, subject to the statutory exception for a carrier independently appointed by the customer.

6. Withdrawal and free returns

Consumers may withdraw without giving a reason within 14 days after receiving the goods. For goods in one order delivered separately, the period starts when the last item is received; any statutory extension of the deadline applies. Withdrawal may also be communicated before delivery.

An unequivocal statement sent to Sealup using the contact details above is sufficient, including the model form available on the Returns page. The DHL portal is not the only permitted communication channel, and withdrawal does not require the Seller’s prior approval. Electronic options available in the shop are listed in the Returns section.

Goods must be sent back without undue delay and within 14 days after withdrawal is communicated, subject to collection arrangements agreed with Sealup. Sealup bears the cost of return shipping. The dedicated DHL portal provides the return procedure. The correct logistics address is printed on the return label and should not be confused with the registered office. Contact Customer Service to arrange an alternative method.

Customers may inspect and try on goods as they would in a shop. They are liable only for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the goods’ nature, characteristics and functioning, within statutory limits. Packaging and tags should be kept; their absence does not automatically remove the right of withdrawal.

Exceptions apply only where the conditions in Article 59 of the Italian Consumer Code are actually met, such as genuinely made-to-measure or clearly personalised goods, with information provided before purchase. Selecting a standard size or colour, or buying a discounted item, does not by itself exclude withdrawal.

7. Refunds

Sealup reimburses the sums due without undue delay and within 14 days after being informed of withdrawal. For withdrawal from the whole order, this includes the original standard delivery charge, but not the additional cost of a more expensive delivery service chosen by the customer.

Where permitted by law, reimbursement may be withheld until the goods are received or evidence of return is supplied, whichever is earlier, unless Sealup has offered to collect the goods itself. Customers are not required to accept credit vouchers instead of a refund.

8. Statutory guarantee of conformity

Goods are covered by the statutory guarantee in Articles 128 onwards of the Italian Consumer Code. The Seller is liable for lack of conformity present on delivery and becoming apparent within two years after delivery, without prejudice to additional applicable protection. Where repair remedies the lack of conformity, the liability period is extended once by twelve months in accordance with applicable law.

Consumers may request repair or replacement free of charge within statutory limits and, where the legal conditions are met, a price reduction or termination. Remedies must be provided within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience. Contact Sealup with purchase references and a description of the problem. The statutory guarantee is separate from the 14-day withdrawal right and does not involve return costs for the consumer.

9. Complaints, applicable law and disputes

Complaints may be sent to Sealup Customer Service. Where a dispute cannot be resolved directly, information on competent alternative dispute resolution bodies and the Seller’s participation is provided where required by applicable law. The right to bring court proceedings remains unaffected.

Italian law applies without depriving consumers of mandatory protections applicable in their country of habitual residence. Jurisdiction is determined by consumer protection and other applicable mandatory rules; no exclusive Milan jurisdiction is imposed.

10. Applicable version

Changes apply to orders placed after publication and do not reduce rights relating to existing contracts. If a provision is invalid, remaining valid provisions and mandatory consumer rights are unaffected.
